Looking for a perfectly apple-y drink to kick back with? Grab some Crown Royal (Regal Apple Variety) and make this delicious spiked cider beverage!
Okay, I am going to be the first to tell you: I do not think there is a wrong time of year to enjoy this tasty adult beverage.
But then I will also tell you that apple cider (in all varieties – spiked, non-alcoholic, frozen, etc) is my all-time favorite drink to enjoy during the fall months. So when I picture enjoying this drink, it’s in late September or anytime during October… sitting around a campfire on a crisp autumn evening. The leaves are bursting with color and there is ZERO humidity in the air. (Yes, if you can’t tell, I LOVE fall camping!)
We used the Crown Royal Regal Apple Whiskey to turn this apple cider into a tasty drink for the 21+ crowd. The Crown Apple variety is infused with Regal Gala apple flavor and make the perfect base for this drink!
This drink so simple to make and really the only actual prep time it requires is assembling the apple garnish. You could skip the garnish altogether, but we think the garnish makes the drink look pretty awesome!
We also opted to serve these in mason jars. Mason jars tend to be our go-to beverage glass for cider drinks.

Crown Royal Apple Cider Recipe
Ingredients
- Crown Royal (Apple)
- Apple Cider
- Red Apple Slices for garnish
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour 1 shot of Crown Royal Apple over the ice.
- Top with apple cider.
- Garnish the drink with apple slices on the rim. (We used a toothpick to fan out the slices.)
- Enjoy!
