Directions:

  1. Paint the Paper Plate:
    • Start by painting the entire top of the paper plate blue using the blue acrylic paint. This will represent the night sky over your campfire. Allow the paint to dry completely before assembling the craft.

    • Once the paint on the paper plate has dried, it’s time to assemble your campfire!
    • Use the double-sided tape to attach the orange flame to the center of the plate.

    • Criss-cross the two brown rectangles to resemble campfire logs. Tape the logs to each other at the crossing point and then tape them to the base of the flames.

    • Using your scissors, carefully cut a small, 1-inch wide slit in the bottom left area of the blue plate.
  5. Roast Your Marshmallow:
    • Slide the craft stick through the slit you made in the plate so that the end with the marshmallow is floating over the flames. Now, you can move the marshmallow back and forth, just like you’re roasting it over a real campfire!
