This summer is sure to be an epic one! If you have any camping adventures planned, you know that a campfire and s’mores night is almost a must-do. Check out this quick and easy campfire s’mores board that we put together in just 5 minutes. It’s such a simple way to make your treats accessible and easy-to-assemble as you relax around the campfire or fire pit!
Quick and Easy Campfire S’mores Board
We almost always have s’mores ingredients on hand. Our patio has a fire pit and on any given summer evening, you might find us enjoying a fire before we head to bed. When camping, we love to kick back at the campsite around a crackling campfire. The whole family loves s’mores and they are a tasty and easy dessert option when you have the a fire burning.
Putting together a s’mores dessert board is so easy and can be as simple or as intricate as you want. For this board, we focused on extremely simple.
Why a dessert board?
Placing your s’mores ingredients on a serving platter or cheeseboard of some type not only looks nice, but it is practical as well! When you place your ingredients on a board, it makes the food much more accessible than trying to dig marshmallows out of a bag, etc.
We like to make up these boards just before serving. This helps to limit the air exposure to the graham crackers and marshmallows, keeping them from getting stale as long as possible.
I also highly recommend having these telescoping skewers on hand for s’mores night! They work great and eliminate the need to stand close to the flames.
Ingredients on the s’mores board
I used the following ingredients on this board:
- Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars (snack size)
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Graham Crackers
- Jet-Puffed S’mores Marshmallows
Setting up the board
I am not exaggerating when I say that this board took me 5 minutes to set up. It is as simple as it gets!
Place the skewers in a container (I used a ball jar) and set the container on your board.
Then arrange the food items around the board, in whatever pattern you like best.
That’s it!
