This SUPER EASY “recipe” is guaranteed to take your s’mores game to the next level! Substitute an OREO cookie for the traditional graham crackers in a s’mores. The result? Pure dessert magic!
Making S’mores with Cookies
A few years ago, we set out to find some of the best s’mores/cookie combinations. We tried lots of different cookies with s’mores, using the cookies instead of graham crackers. Each cookie that we used had such a unique flavor profile!
One of my very favorite combinations was definitely the OREO s’mores.
Follow the directions below to make a batch of OREO s’mores for yourself and see what you think!
OREO S’mores Ingredients and Supplies
To make these treats, you will need:
- OREO cookies
- Marshmallows
- Hershey’s chocolate bars
- Hershey’s chocolate syrup (optional)
- Wooden skewers (or we love these telescoping roasting sticks)
How to Make OREO S’mores
Follow the directions below:
1. Lay out your OREO cookies and remove the top from each cookie.
2. Place a piece of chocolate on the bottom half of each OREO.
3. Place a marshmallow on the end of your roasting stick and roast the marshmallow (over a campfire, sterno fuel, etc).
4. Place melted marshmallow on top of chocolate piece on OREO. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if you desire.
5. Place top half of cookie on the marshmallow.

- 10 OREO cookies
- 10 marshmallows
- 5-10 small Hershey's chocolate bars
- Chocolate syrup optional topping
Instructions
- Lay out your OREO cookies and remove the top from each cookie.
- Place a piece of chocolate on the bottom half of each OREO.
- Place a marshmallow on the end of your roasting stick and roast the marshmallow (over a campfire, sterno fuel, etc).
- Place melted marshmallow on top of chocolate piece on OREO. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if you desire.
