If you’re living in an RV or spending time at the campground in one during the Halloween season, there are plenty of fun ways to celebrate and have a good time with those around you. Not only can you spice things up by adding different types of decorations in and around the RV, but you can also hand out candy to other people staying in RVs near you.
1. Decorate with Orange and Black String Lights
Get in the Halloween spirit with bright orange and black string lights that you can hang inside and outside the RV. For example, you may want to place some of the lights in the windows of the RV so that people can see them as they’re walking by. However, you can also put them out on display throughout the vehicle to illuminate the area where you’ve parked.
2. Use Large Hanging Decorations
Get creative with hanging Halloween decorations, such as large spiders with cobwebs, ghosts, witches, and more. You can hang these large decorations on the sides of your RV and even on top of them to make it look like the spiders, ghosts, and other spooky creatures are lingering around. It’s a fantastic way to dress up the RV for Halloween.
3. Place Blow-Up Props Outside of the RV
Not only can you decorate the RV, but you can also use large blow-up props outside the RV to make things look even spookier. It’s easy to find all kinds of these large inflatable decorations, including pumpkins, ghosts, witches, and more. You can place them in different spots surrounding the RV. It’s even easier to see them when you have those bright string lights hanging around.
4. Put Window Clings on the Windows of Your RV
Don’t forget about adding some Halloween window clings on the windows of your RV. You can find spooky and fun window clings at department stores and in other great places, including the dollar store. So, even if you don’t want to spend too much money on decorations, you can still find neat items for the windows that are sure to make your RV look even better throughout the month of October.
5. Install Fake Tombstones Around the RV
If you’d like to create an even creepier vibe around your RV while celebrating Halloween with family, friends, and neighbors, you can buy fake tombstones at the dollar store, craft store, or even online and set them up outside. Place these tombstones in different spots to make it look like people are buried in front of your RV and around the sides of it!
Campground Trick or Treating
After you’ve spent time decorating the RV to give it that spooky appearance, you can decide if you’d like to hand out candy to the other children in the area. You may want to sit outside of your RV while wearing a spooky costume and holding a bowl of treats to let children grab from when they’re campground trick-or-treating. Even if you’re in an RV, you can still celebrate the fun and exciting holiday.
