We love quick and easy gift ideas! Candles make great gifts and anyone who knows me knows that I never pass up a great sale on them. I use them in my house and also gift them to friends, the kids’ teachers, etc. Candles make nice additions to gift baskets and are always perfect housewarming presents.
For this Valentine’s Day candle gift, I made a gift tag that includes one of my very favorite of all camping symbols: the campfire! I thought it went along with the theme of things that burn!

For these Valentine gifts, you will need the following materials:
- Candles (one per gift)
- Twine or ribbon
- Scissors
- Single hole punch

How to Assemble the Valentine Candle Gift
1. Print out our tags. (I recommend printing them on white cardstock to make them a bit sturdier than regular printer paper.)
2. Cut out the tags and punch a single hole in the top of each tag.
3. Tie the tag to the candle with twine or ribbon. That’s it!
In the picture at the top of this post, we used a larger 3-wick candle. Here is how the tag looks on a smaller, single-wick candle.
One more assembly option is to use double-sided tape and place the tag ON the candle jar, as if it was the label. Here is how that looked on a small single-wick candle:
