When our last day of school teacher gifts came together this year, we knew we had to share them with you! the camping themed sugar cookies are just adorable (nope, we didn’t make them) and our happy camper gift tags were the perfect finishing touch. Check out the different camping cookies for inspiration and grab our printable tags below!

Cookie Gifts for Teachers
Every year I place an order with a local bakery for decorated sugar cookies. I change the theme each year and send them to elementary school for my kiddo’s homeroom teacher, school admins, principal and bus driver. They are always incredibly well-received and I have a lot of fun putting them together!
This year the theme that I chose was… CAMPING! I placed my order back in March for a June pickup. I learned a few years ago that June is an unbelievably busy month for many, and my cookie lady books up quick! Parties, baby showers, weddings, and so on!
Camping Themed Sugar Cookies
I spent a lot of time scouring the internet to figure out which actual camping themed cookies I wanted to order. I thought it might be helpful if I shared them here, in addition to the printable tags that I made. Hopefully they help you out if you are looking for ideas!
Here’s what I chose:
- Tent
- Camper (Glamper)
- Tree
- Campfire
- Lantern
- S’more

Gift Tag for Camping Cookies
I knew that I wanted to create some sort of “Happy Camper” themed gift tag to put on these cookie packages. After a few different directions, I finally settled on these:

The cookies turned out amazing and when they were all packaged up, they really looked fantastic. Check out the tips below for copying this gift idea using the same supplies that I used.
At the bottom of the post, you will find a link to request the file download.

Materials Used for Camping Cookies Gifts
Round up the following supplies to make these gifts just like the ones pictured:
- Cookies (If you don’t have a bakery nearby, believe it or not, I have purchased cookies on Etsy before!)
- Twine
- Scissors
- Baker’s Boxes (I used 2 sizes: small and medium)
- Our printable tags (I recommend using white card stock!)
- Single hole punch
- Paper shred
Assembling the Gift Boxes
Putting these gifts together only takes a few minutes! First, cut out the printable tags (see below for the link). Punch a hole in the top of each tag. You can sign the back of the tag (or have your child do so) if you want.

Place paper shred inside the bottom of the box, spreading it out across the box. Arrange cookies in the box however you prefer.
Tie a piece of twine around the box and add the gift tag before tying the twine into a bow.

That’s it! Your boxes are ready for gifting!
Don’t they look fabulous?
