The Writers
Meet your writing team! Together, we have years of relevant experience and knowledge in the camping and RV world. From wrangling kids cross country in a camper to fixing flat tires on our travel trailer on the side of a mountain, we have a lot to share!

Devon
Devon holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Science Degree in Applied Technology. She has been a full-time blogger for more than 15 years and written extensive content on family travel. From tips for traveling with kids to advice on how to keep things organized in the camper, she’s got lots of life experience to share.
Devon’s favorite camping memory is the night her family spent camping on the prairie in South Dakota on land once owned by Laura Ingalls Wilder’s family.

Bob
Bob is our technical guru and writes all of our how-to and practical camping guides. He is a certified electrician, certified auto mechanic, CPR/First Aid instructor, and volunteer fire fighter. His day job is actually a food broker! All of these experiences have lead to an incredibly vast bank of relevant knowledge for our RV adventures!
Bob’s favorite camping memory is crawling into bed for a good night’s sleep after completing the multi-day drive from Pennsylvania to Yellowstone National Park.

The Fam
We are The Weaver Family! When we upgraded our pop-up camper to a travel trailer, we knew that we would use it to enjoy many road trips together. I don’t think we ever imagined just how many miles we’d log or how much fun we would have doing it!

We learned pretty quick that we had a lot to learn! As we tackled more trips and continued to transform our living space, our camper felt more and more like home.
Here are the states that we have driven through and/or camped with our camper so far:
- Pennsylvania
- Maine
- New Hampshire
- Massachusetts
- Rhode Island
- Connecticut
- New York
- Delaware
- Maryland
- Virginia
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Georgia
- Florida
- West Virginia
- Ohio
- Michigan
- Indiana
- Illinois
- Iowa
- Wisconsin
- Minnesota
- South Dakota
- Wyoming
- Montana
It’s hard to choose a favorite camping trip, but I would definitely say that Yellowstone and Acadia National Parks top the list.

We have had such a blast exploring new places and watching the kids grow up with these incredible travel experiences!
